Cleaning Dog Trails and Planting Trees

Updated: May 21, 2019

High school students from North Rome Christian School spent the day working at Happy Tails. The students planted magnolia trees that were donated by Shores Sisters Farm Market, and cleared a trail that will eventually be used for walking dogs.

Before work began, the students had a tour of the shelter and learned about Happy Tails mission. During the tour students talked about ways to show compassion towards animals as part of Be Kind to Animals Week, which is next week.
